Now that you know where the must-stops are, you are ready to take your own trip to the beautiful california desert.
Here's a few things to consider:
- you are in the desert. Seems obvious but remember that TEMPERATURES are extreme and you can be hot during the day but cold at night so come prepared with layers!
- It may not be what it seems. Check your hike BEFOREHAND and make sure you are choosing one that you are prepared for. Nothing worse than thinking you have a fun, easy hike ahead of you but you end up on a tougher hike than you thought.
- Don't be afraid of the dark. So many of NATURE'S wonders are EVEN more BEAUTIFUL at night so GRAB your HEADLAMP and start your trek to find a great spot to gaze at the stars.
