How to Make: Personal Pizzas

This week on Cooking with Bradley, we finish off the pizza dough recipe from Episode #44 “Make Your Own Pizza Dough!”

Bradley tops off the pizza with his favorite ingredients, but, as always, feel free to customize this recipe to your taste buds! When Cooking with Bradley you get to see how much fun the Pee Gang has in the kitchen, never worried about making mistakes as we are ‘cooking food, not saving lives!!’

Pizza Dough Recipe

  • 1.1 pound “00” flour (pizza flour)
  • 15 grams dry active yeast
  • 10 fl ounces tempered water
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Toppings
  • Red sauce
  • Chorizo sliced Blue cheese, crumbled

Instructions

  • Place “00” flour and yeast in a large metal bowl and whisk together
  • Have a measuring cup ready with the tempered water (remember that half cold and half hot water combined to make it tempered)
  • Add 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to the water
  • Then, pour water oil mixture into the dry ingredients
  • With gloves on, use your hands to mix the liquid and dry ingredients together until well blended
  • Then, place your dough on a lightly floured surface and knead for about 3 to 5 minutes
  • Slightly oil the inside of another metal bowl and place your dough ball into the bowl
  • Cover this tightly with plastic wrap and leave in a warm place for 2 hours
  • After 2 hours, set your oven to 450-500 degrees, flour a sheet pan, and measure out 150-160 grams of dough
  • Roll each of these dough portions into a small ball and place on the sheet pan
  • Lay a towel over top of the balls so the don’t dry out, and use your rolling pin to start making your individual pizza pies!
  • Add sauce and your chosen ingredients, then place in the oven for approximately 15 minutes, keeping an eye on it so it does not burn!

We hope you enjoy this week’s Cooking with Bradley segment. Leave us a comment with your favorite pizza toppings, or suggest a recipe you would like to see us spotlight!
