Thailand: Unbeatable Beaches & Beauties

Thailand has to be the top places for so many incredible natural wonders. Their beaches and even their local markets are unmatched. I’m stoked to share this blog with you because I packed some of my favorite places to eat here along with yet some more insane spots for sunsets! Making that life choice to choose travel over “a typical job” is something I never take advantage of—especially every time I watch a sunset in a new country with new friends. Let’s dive in!

Chatuchak Market, Bangkok

Also known as JJ Market, this indoor-outdoor market with over 10,000 shops has to be a must-visit for any food lover or nomad alike! From various types of clothes, to ceramics, to every food and drink under the sun, JJ Market took my breath away in the best way possible. Man, I want to go back now just thinking about it!

Koh Pha Ngan

A small island off the coast of Thailand? Don’t mind if I do! Home of the original (and BEST) Full Moon Party, this island gets insane when the full moon rolls around. Grab your paint, favorite drinks, and best friends for one of the greatest nights of your life! The island also has more to offer than just insane parties, like the beautiful Mae Haat Beach and Chaloklum Beach. Paradise Waterfall is right near Chaloklum Beach, but the island also has six other waterfalls scattered throughout. Make sure to do your own exploring to find the rest of them, I can’t give away all of my secrets! 😉

Railay Beach, Krabi

Railay Beach is on a peninsula in the southwest part of Thailand called Krabi. The water is an insane blue with massive boulders that seem to just be standing in the middle of the ocean. The sunsets here are truly hard to beat. The raw beauty that comes from this remote area is absolutely unreal. Thailand has so much to offer but this little beach is a must. Not to mention, they have the BEST fried whole fish I’ve ever eaten! Railay Mango Restaurant is steps from the beach—make sure to head there if you’re a seafood lover and you’re ready to have your palate changed forever.

Koh Lanta

This island region just south of Krabi is the place to go if you’re looking to get away from everything and everyone. Not to mention, their street food is to die for. Nui Bay is a tiny beach with a single drink stand if you want to fully experience peace to rejuvenate for days to come. Khlong Jark Waterfall is a great place to go after relaxing the whole day before—the hike isn’t super strenuous by any means but it gets you up and moving on an island that is full of relaxing places to lay all day.

Man, I’m missing this place already. Whether you want to go for the parties, food, beaches, or all three, I can guarantee you will never be disappointed when you visit Thailand. Have a blast!

Peace,
